Here we go again! Is paracetamol safe? Research Dampens Hopes and suggests our most popular pain killer isn't as effective as many think, there are also worries about its side-effects, especially on pregnant women

Paracetamol is the pain-killer of choice worldwide
Researchers at the University of Sydney looked at more than 1,650 people who had suffered back pain, for a variety of reasons, for six weeks or less and concluded that; doctors…  “need to reconsider the universal recommendation to provide paracetamol as a first-line treatment for back pain’’.
